Brace of games completed in Division Three

THERE were just two matches played in Division Three, neither of which had much significance at either end of the table.

Newly-crowned champions Dunclug showed no mercy in a crushing win over West Church ‘B’, restricting the church side to just 13 shots.

Noel Clarke, Robert Neeson, David Calderwood and Alan Heron were the winners for the Doury Road side, against Joe Harris, Edwin Donaghy, Victor Mahon and David Aicken.

In the other game, Glenravel improved their league position by taking three-and-a-half points from their trip to All Saints.

The father-and-son combination of Niall and Gerry Sands had Glenravel in a strong position after first half wins over Eugene Walsh and Martin McGarry.

Paddy Martin and Seamus McKeown could not be separated in a 6-6 stalemate, while Eugene McReynolds earned Saints a point with an 8-5 win over Daniel Higgins.
