Brilliant Big Breakfast for Ballycastle Camogie Club!

Ballycastle Camogie Club hosted their first ever ‘Big Breakfast’ event last Sunday in the beautifully situated Clubrooms at Paírc MacUílin.

The occasion represented a ‘send-off’ to their U14 Squad who travelled to Limerick at the weekend to compete in the All Ireland Féile na nGael competition.

The Club has been fundraising since their team were crowned Antrim Féile Champions back in May and this occasion gave them the opportunity to thank players, parents, sponsors and the general public for their support and generosity over the past six weeks.

In Particular the Camogie Club would like to thank the following main sponsors of the Breakfast morning; Henderson Group, Eurospar Ballycastle, Boyle’s Café, Glenshesk Free Range Eggs, Genesis Bakery, The Pantry and Quay Coffee.

Without the support and generosity of such businesses, these types of events just would not be possible, the Club are extremely grateful for the continued assistance.

On show at the Big Breakfast was a presentation of photos and mementoes from past Féile teams and the journey of our current team through from U6 to where they are now.

The Féile Money Prize Draw took place at the Breakfast event:

2nd Prize: £200 - Rachel Erwin, Cushendun
3rd Prize: £100 - N McGothigan, Ballycastle

The Club would like to thank everyone who bought and sold tickets for the draw.

An immense amount of work goes into organising such days, and the volunteerism is a true reflection of what a Club is all about.
