Brooke Park extend their lead

THE Northern Ireland Provincial Bowling Association Progressive Building Society Senior League saw bottom side City of Derry lost to fellow strugglers Portglenone 70-93.

In the Progressive Division One League leaders Brooke Park defeated Cookstown B 89-75, while second place Limavady lost 77-81 at Ballycastle.

In Progressive Division Two League Limavady B lost 66-86 to Kilrea and City of Derry B lost 84-50 at Coleraine B; in the Progressive Division Three League Dungiven beat Riada 77-62 and Lisnagelvin lost to Dunluce.

Tonight (Thursday) the NIPBA Pairs round four takes centre stage, while on Friday the NIPBA Fours quarter-final is down for decision. On Saturday, in the Progressive Senior League City of Derry entertain Coleraine, while next Monday, June 28 the NIPBA singles round four will be staged.

Next Tuesday in the Progressive Senior League City of Derry face Portrush, in the Progressive Division One League Ballymoney B entertain Brooke Park, while Limavady visit Magherafelt.

Next Wednesday in the Progressive Division Two League City of Derry B host Kilrea and Limavady B travel to Castlerock, while in the Progressive Division Three League there's a North West derby taking all the limelight with Lisnagelvin facing Dungiven.

Meanwhile in the PTWBA Senior League Ballymena beat Londonderry 74-47, while the scores from the Limavady versus Ballymoney match was not available.

There are no league matches next week as the British Isles Championships and International series will be played in Worthing.
