Brothers Cooke up a success!

THE Cooke family had a unique situation on Sports Bond this week.

In Ballykeel, Sports Bond agent Geoff Cooke had a 50 major winner with a previous winner Darren Donnell (A6386) of Staffa Drive. Meanwhile, Ballykeel Community Hall caretaker, Trevor Cooke (A8257), a brother of Geoff’s, was a 50 major winner on the agency of Hugh Hillis in Harryville where Trevor gets his newspapers!

In Cloughmills, Rory McCarroll (A1116) proprietor of McCarroll Plant Hire was a 50 major winner of the agency of John Armstrong. The other major winner this week was Martina Fay (B8288), partner of agent David Creighton. The pair are getting married in July.

In the 10 minor section, Patricia Thompson (A5056) won 10 on her own agency.

Rodney Purdy in Cullybackey had a 10 winner with his mum, Nicola (A4956).

The Gracehill & Galgorm Senior Citizens had a 10 winner with Phyllis Hayes (A6435). Tommy Service (A3339) was a 10 winner on the agency of Colin Graham.

Surprisingly, there would have been no less than four 15 consolation winners this week, but all were temporary non payers.

The jackpot remained unallocated with very high numbers of 4, 20, 22, 26, and so rises to 550 for this week.
