Busy time at St Michael’s

IT is a busy time at St Michael’s GAA Club in Magheralin as it celebrates its 50th anniversary year.

The first big event is the annual Golf Classic on Friday, 27th July, at the Edenmore club.

Entry fee is £200 per four ball team. Anyone interested in entering a team can contact any committee member or send their details to [email protected]

A barbecue will be held at the clubrooms on the Ballymacbredan Road, Magheralin on Saturday, 28th July, at 8.30pm. Price is £5 per person, which includes a BBQ pack to cook. The winners of the Golf Classic will be presented with their prizes on this night.

The Cul Camps will run from Monday, August 6, to Friday, August 10.

A nursery camp - for children who were in P1 and P2 in June 2012 - will run from 10am to 12.30pm and Cul camp (for P3 and over) runs from 10am to 2.30pm daily.

St Michael’s GFC are once again running the Magheralin Music Festival from Thursday, 16th August, to Sunday, 19th August.

There is live music from The Indians on Friday, August 17, Flash Harry on Saturday, August 18, and Liquid Gold on Sunday, August 19. Admission each night is £10.
