Owen Kinney will also be fighting for the promotions Irish lightweight title. The event will be the climax of three months’ hard training for the team in varied disciplines, such as Boxing, Kick-Boxing, Judo, Wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu with all the members being rounded in all of the skills.

As well as that there have been numerous hill sprints, weights lifted, tyres flipped and all round fitness sessions to ensure that the fighters are at their peak.

Alan Ashcroft, head coach said: “This is the biggest team we have taken to an event yet, but each one of the guys is ready to go and I’m confident that we’re going to see a seven out of seven victory return for the club.

The effort has been put in and the skills have been learnt and they’re all looking forward to putting both into action.”
