The golfers took control late in the first half when Darren Taylor picked up 10 shots over his last four ends to claim a 15-7 win, while Paul Stinson had a great tussle throughout his game against Leslie King and scored a last end brace to win 9-8.

St Cedma’s battled hard and threatened to close the deficit but the golfers stood firm in a great second half. The Curran Road team did manage to win both rinks by two and one but it was too little, too late. Greg Devenney picked up a count of four on his last end to win by two and his father, Kevin, won by a shot.
