Cairndhu rowers stroke to all-Ireland medals

Cairndhu Rowing Club returned from the All Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships with eight sets of medals - beating even last year’s fantastic haul.

The club set off out for two long days in the water off Rosslare in Wexford with five boats in tow and with hopes of bringing home some titles.

The Senior Ladies crew - Helen Hamilton, Fiona Hamilton, Debbie Hanna and Lisa Cameron, coxed by Clive Perry - rowed The Dawn, a boat built by founding member Davey Black, to Cairndhu’s only gold medals of the weekend,
