CAMOGIE ALL-STAR AWARDS FOR LORETO COLLEGE STUDENTS

A student from Loreto College Coleraine has been granted an Ulster Colleges’ All Star award for Camogie.

Megan Kerr (Year 14) received this honour after a testing series of trials over recent months. Megan has a distinguished history of representing Loreto in camogie as well as other sports throughout her years at the College, in addition to playing a leading part in local team, Eoghan Rua – 2011 and 2012 winners of the All Ireland Intermediate Club final in Croke Park. 

This is the second consecutive year that Megan has won an Ulster Colleges’ All Star award.

Megan, along with Gaelic Games co-ordinator and camogie coach Mrs Schira McGoldrick, and camogie coach Bean Ui Mháináin, were congratulated on this tremendous achievement by College Principal Mr Michael James.
