Campaign begins for Mid-Antrim Zone men

Mid-Antrim Zone men’s team begin their quest for IIBA Inter-Zone glory with a home match against Armagh at Killymurris Glarryford this Saturday, October 25 (2pm).

This fixture will provide a stern test of the locals’ ambitions as the men from the Orchard County have lifted the coveted Boomer Cup on no less than five occasions, including last season, and have a team well capable of adding to that roll of honour.

The last time the hosts triumphed in the competition was in the 2005/06 season.

LADIES

The ladies team received a bye in the this years first round and have been drawn away to Western Zone with the game scheduled to take place, most probably in Enniskillen on Saturday 6th December.

Team selection, travel and venue for the game has yet to be finalised.
