The A team travel to Banbridge in the Senior Cup and with both teams not showing their best form to date, it probably depends who performs on the night.

The B team are home to Castle B in the Junior Cup quarter finals and should start as favourites to reach the last four.

The first team go into their game on a mixed run, having picked up a key league win over Dromore before going out of the Irish Senior Cup.

Lisnagarvey needed this win against local rivals Dromore in Division One.

But, it in no way secures Garvey’s safety from relegation and they still have a lot of work to do.

Few would argue that Dromore are destined for a return to Division Two, though Nathan Haire did his best to lift spirits. He has been the steadiest rink for them to date and a win by 15 shots over Davy Boal kept the County Down team in the hunt.

Noel Graham is no stranger to Dromore, where he started his NIBA career and he kept Garvey in control with a 13 shots win over Nick Haire.

Ivan Craig had the edge over Sammy Malcolmson and Philip Cromie also got the better of Gavin Clinghan.

The result would appear to suggest Dromore are on the way down and Garvey have some hope.

S. Malcolmson 18, I. Craig 22; G. Clinghan 15, P. Cromie 22; N. Haire 18, N. Graham 31; D. Boal 9, N. D. Haire 24.

Lisnagarvey’s IBA Senior Cup hopes foundered away to Ewarts when they lost by 37 shots with Ivan Craig their only winner.

Davy Boal’s rink never got to grips with the game and they went down by 27 shots.

Noel Graham lost by eight shots and Philip Cromie went down by four shots.

Ivan Craig got the only Garvey win, but the two shots margin left little difference.

D. Cunningham 41, D. Boal 14; B. Atkinson 22, I. Caig 24; J. Templeton 24, N. Graham 16; C. Mullan 21, P. Cromie 17.
