The event, sponsored by the Belfast City Airport Community Fund, which has invested approximately £250,000 into a range of local education, environment and community initiatives, provided athletes with an opportunity to learn from industry experts.

In addition to seminars in health, communicating with the media and managing their online presence, athletes also received a combined financial boost of £18,000 to further enhance their sporting career.
