Carrick Ladies through to Shield final
Carrick Ladies defeated Belfast Harlequins 2nd XI on Saturday to book their place in this season’s McConnell Shield competition.
While many would have anticipated an all-Junior One final this year, Carrick’s Senior Two squad delivered a strong defensive display to thwart the Belfast girls, producing a thoroughly deserved 3-0 victory. Melissa Taylor, Chloe Mitchell and Christine Waide netted the goals for the local side.
