Alpha who secured their first point of the season in Mallusk against newcomers Jolly Beggar with M. Kitson and A. Carson levelling the match. Jonny Thompson’s Scorpions won 9-5 over A. Lindsay’s Teddy Bears and a much improved Greenisland team enjoyed a 10-4 victory over Eastway.

Monkstown are in third after a 9-5 win over Barbarians.
