Causeway net fantastic win

The newly promoted Causeway were once again the underdogs.

Causeway shocked Kingsway from the word go, quarter time score was 13-14 to Kingsway.

Kingsway took a three goal lead at half time.

Causeway came out fighting the last two quarters.

Strong defence, led by Brenda Boyle at the top of the defence circle and Noelle Rea and Mary McCollum in the circle, they made some lovely interceptions, which was enough for the attack to bring the score to level 29-29 at ¾ time.

Both teams fought hard in the final quarter, in a nail biting final fifteen minutes Causeway showed tremendous spirit and determination, and in the end beat Kingsway by three goals, with a final score of 42:39.

This was a fantastic win for Causeway, and a great team effort. Causeway go on next week to play Graduates, one of the league favourites.
