Celtic off to a winning start

LURGAN Celtic got their pre-season programme off to a winning start.

They had a 3-1 victory against Intermediate B side Richill at Lurgan Junior High on Saturday.

Scorers for the winners were new signings Daniel Ryan and Ryan Murphy who both showed up well and look likely to boost Manager Ciaran O’Kanes squad.

The third was a penalty scored by Niall Lavery.

On a personal note the club wishes a speedy recovery to team attendant Aiden Smith who is currently in Craigavon Area Hospital.

It is hoped he will soon be back at the club as his input is sorely missed by one and all.
