Charity Cup fixtures

Hillsborough Social and Killaney have been paired in Section 2 of the Lisburn Zone Charity Cup, along with Rock.

Killaney and Social are, of course two of the top teams in the League and the draw assures that one of them will not be in the Cup quarter finals.

The full draw reads:

Section 1: Aghagallon, Loughaghery, St Colman’s Dunmurry, Drumlough.

Section 2: Hillsborough Social, Killaney, Rock.

Section 3: Soldierstown, Sloan Street, St Colman’s Lambeg.

Section 4: Derriaghy, Hillsborough Presbyterian, Pond Park.

Section 5: Anahilt Presbyterian, Eglantine, Ballinderry, Derryvolgie.

Section 6: Lisburn Masonic, Seymour Hill, Lambeg Parish.

Section 7: St Mark’s, St Paul’s, Priesthill.

Section 8: Hilden, St Clare’s, Annahilt Paris.

Make a note of all the important Lisburn Zone dates:

October 10: Junior practice, Eglantine hall. All juniors, under-18 on September 1, 2014, please come along for short practice, 7pm till 8pm.

October 18: Junior Zone match at Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast.

October 20-23 can be used for Charity Cup matches.

October 24: National fours

October 27: National pairs.

October 28: ladies singles, junior singles, junior pairs.

October 30: National triples. All above at Lisnagarvey High School.

November 3: ladies pairs, Hillsborough Social, November 10: ladies pairs, Hillsborough Social.

December 9: over-55 pairs, Priesthill. December 13: finals night, Eglantine Parish hall

October 17: Zone mixed pairs, Anahilt Presbyterian. October 21: Zone mixed pairs, Derriaghy Parish.

November 21: Zone mixed triples, Annahilt Parish. November 28: Zone mixed triples, Eglantine Parish.

January 2: Zone mixed fours, Annahilt Parish. January 9: Zone mixed fours, Eglantine Parish.

January 27: Zone singles, Derriaghy Parish. January 29: Zone singles, Loughaghery Presbyterian.

February 9-13: Charity competitions quarter finals must be completed. February 17: Zone finals night, Priesthill Methodist

March 2: charity semi-final, Hillsborough Social. March 6: charity semi-final, St Colman’s Dunmurry.

March 9: charity semi-final, Hillsborough Social. March 10: charity semi-final, Priesthill Methodist.

March 24: charity final, St Paul’s Parish. March 25: charity final, Eglantine Parish.
