Charity Cup victory for United trio

Larne Ladies Darts League: United trio Norma Irvine, Sharon Marno and Julie Corrigan won this year’s Charity Cup which was staged at the No. 1 Club.

Just who will benefit from the £210 raised will be decided at the league’s Annual General Meeting in April.

United defeated Legion Wings’ ‘B’ team in the final, consisting of Jackie Todd, Una Mc Bride and Christine McCormac.

The beaten semi-finalists were Linda Swann, Jean McIlroy and Joyce Spires (No. 1 Eagles ‘B’) and Jackie Hyslop, Jackie Maguire and Marlene Kirkpatrick (Ballylumford ‘B’). Thanks to all the other teams who participated.
