Charity golf at Gracehill
Last year the inaugural event, also sponsored by a number of Ballymoney businesses, attracted a large field of competitors and it is hoped that this year, with improved prizes and format will attract even more interest.
The course is reckoned to be one of Northern Ireland's best parkland courses famous for its water hazards and wide fairways and is in it's peak condition. Last year the JT Autos shield was won by Alister Bustard and his team from Flash 'N the Pan and Alister has again entered a team to defend his winner's title.

The proceeds of the event will go to support Cheers Youth Centre in Church Street Ballymoney.
The centre has for many years provided a safe meeting place and run programmes for young people in and around Ballymoney.
The centre is currently expanding it's programme to include informal educational programmes tackling issues that are relevant to young people.

Hide AdSteven Currie, who heads up a small group raising funds for the centre, is hoping for a big turn out on July First. "It is always encouraging when a lot of hard work goes into organising an event like this that local golfers support the effort and have a good days competition as well, We want to thank local businesses who have sponsored holes; without their support we couldn't run such an event successfully,," he said.
