Charity golf classic at Ballycastle

WELL-known sporting figure Mickey Harte and music promoter James McGarrity invite you to enter a team at the forthcoming EXCLUSIVE Charity Golf Classic to be held at the picturesque Ballycastle Links Golf Course on Friday 28 May.

Top names from sport and entertainment will tee off at Ballycastle to make this Golf Classic a day to remember.

The scenic Ballycastle Golf course is situated on the beautiful north Antrim coast and offers a full 18-hole championship coastal course.

The 4- ball competition played on one of Ireland’s most beautiful courses will raise vital funds to support Action MS in its delivery of services to the MS population in Northern Ireland. Following the day’s play all entrants will enjoy a welcome meal in the Club House.

Mickey Harte said he was delighted at the initial response from local golfers and celebrities:

“It is great to have so many people pledging to give of their time and money for a great cause, Action MS. All money raised on the day will stay in Northern Ireland to support this hard-working local charity.”

James McGarrity and Mickey have worked together on a number of projects over the past year and look forward to another successful venture.

Action MS Chief Executive Ann Walker MBE said:“This is a first ever Charity Golf Classic in Ballycastle for Action MS. I would like to thank James McGarrity and Mickey Harte for their support.

“Mickey has been a long time friend and supporter of Action MS, in fact spanning some 28 years and this year agreed to become Patron of Action MS.

“Mickey has seen Action MS grow from a listening ear service some 30 years ago to offer the extensive range of services delivered to the MS population today, the most recent services being the free legal support and work with children.”

Ann says that she never ceases to be amazed at the continuing support Action MS receives from a very generous Northern Ireland public.
