Charity match at Whites

SMILEY Monroe Ltd, Club Sponsor, and Lisburn Distillery Football Club holding a Charity football match and Family Fun Day fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer Care on Sunday.

The Charity Football Match between Smiley Monroe and the Whites will kick off at 12 noon at Lisburn Distillery’s New Grosvenor Stadium and everyone is welcome to come along to show their support and enjoy the day.

Events will get underway before that however with a range of free fun activities for all the family from 11am: from face painting and a 40ft assault course bouncy castle with slide to bouncy boxing, gladiators and prize sumo wrestling! Hot food and refreshments will be on sale, with a proportion of the proceeds being kindly donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care. A pre-match charity penalty shoot-out, with former Northern Ireland keeper Tommy Wright in goal, for kids and big kids (adults) will start at 11am. Raffle tickets will be on sale all morning and at 2pm to 3pm in the afternoon the charity raffle will round off the day. There will be a range of great prizes, including football memorabilia, within which there will be a signed Co-operative Cup winning Distillery FC shirt, VIP match tickets and framed Liverpool shirt signed by Anfield legend Steven Gerrard.
