As things stand, Shane O’Neill’s are top on 30 points with a game left to play. St. Paul’s, who are enjoying a late surge, are sitting in second place on 25 points with St. Peters in third spot on 24. Sitting in fourth are Keady who have currently secured 22 points. When all games are completed, the top two sides will do battle in a play-off with the winners being crowned champions. The top three teams, however, will all be promoted.

St. Peter’s, currently pushing for promotion, will be missing several players on Sunday when they travel to Keady before facing Middletown, also away, in their final league action. While both the Whites and St. Paul’s would be keen to maintain steady progression, either side could benefit financially from remaining in Division Two where they would encounter Clan na Gael, Clann Éireann, Éire Óg, Tír na nÓg and Wolfe Tones next season. All the end of year play-offs have been fixed for the Athletic Grounds.

In Division One, front runners Maghery, who have led the division from the start, will probably have to face Crossmaglen in the first division decider to win the title. The Loughshore outfit, in the past two seasons, have finished runners up in the top flight.
