CIS Cup draw
GLENAVON have been drawn against Cliftonville in the third round of the Co-Operative Insurance Cup.
The game will be played at Mourneview Park on Saturday, October 23 (kick-off 3pm) and the tough draw will, the gaffer hopes, inspire his side to up their recent performances:
“We’ve got home advantage so we can’t complain I suppose,” said Marty Quinn.
“We could have done with a handier draw but we’ll always make things difficult for ourselves anyway so the better the opposition the better we might play.”
