City of Derry finish 9th far off imperious Ballymoney’s pace

The curtain has fallen with a thud on the exertions of the City of Derry and Lisnagelvin teams throughout the 2015 campaign.

In the senior league, Ballymoney had a remarkable 17 victories in 18 outings and in the process amassed a superb 102.5 points. City of Derry finished in 7th position recording 5 victories and gathering 39 points.

In Division 1, Cookstown ‘B’ secured 107.5 points from their 17 victories. City of Derry ‘B’ by comparison had 4 victories and one drawn game to realise 36 points: a statistic that left them in 9th position.

Kilrea took the honours in Division 2, winning 12 of their 18 games, losing 5 and drawing 1, which equated to 92 points overall.

Lisnagelvin recorded 2 victories in their 18 game campaign, losing 16 in the process, to have the dubious distinction of finishing bottom of the league with 21.5 points.
