Clady anglers prepare for new season

THE new fishing season is almost here for members of Clady & District Angling Club, with a starting date of March 1.

To facilitate this the club is once again holding two membership renewal mornings at the clubhouse on February 25 and March 10, from 10am-1pm.

To renew your membership please bring your club identity card as a permit can’t be issued without it. Permit cost for the 2012 season remains at £35.

The club would also like to see more new members, so if your interested in fishing or looking after you local river drop in on either morning and collect a membership form.

The first competition of the season will also be fished on March 10 and is open to all club members. All members are asked to carry their ID card, club permit and game rod licence at all times whilst fishing the river. Rod licence can be purchased at any local tackle shop.

The club would like to wish all anglers tight lines for 2012.
