SHANKILL claimed the majority of the spoils from this game which had an exciting end to end finish.

On mat one for Shankill skip David Drake, Leona Drake, Bobby Livingstone and Des Gregg had a convincing 15-8 win over Armagh skip C. Donaldson.

Charlie Maguire, Jim Girvan, Molly Livingstone and A. Mullan suffered a heavy 16-3 defeat by skip B. Trainor.

Lindsay Wallace, C. Martin, D. Millar and N. McKenny on three for Shankill had to fight hard for their 9-4 victory over skip C. Devlin.

On four for Shankill Derek Henderson, Irish Anderson, R. Millar and N. Kane made a gallant effort to get their side’s first win of the season but lost out by a single shot, 9-8, to skip M. McCluskey.
