Clifford proves his ‘Worth’ with Raceview win

THE Saturday 13-hole sweeps continue at Ballymena Golf Club and on the first Saturday of February, Clifford Worthington made his round very worthwhile as he returned a winning total of 34 stableford points.

Playing off an adjusted handicap of 10, he scored nine pars, three bogeys and a lone birdie on the 12th, which proved valuable as it was worth four points on its own.

Runner-up was David Small who, playing off a reduced handicap of seven, posted 32 points from eight pars, a bogey, birdies at the sixth, ninth and 13th, only to spoil a good round with a non-score on the final hole.
