Clough gain revenge to claim Tushy Cup glory

The Ballymena, Harryville and District Darts League, sponsored by Mid Antrim Blinds, saw the conclusion of the Tushy Cup where Clough Rangers avenged their defeat by Drifters in the Charity Cup final.

In other games, Greenhills claimed the Tushy Duffers trophy, Fountain Arrows won the Fountain derby to claim the MS Cup and Slemish Tavern triumphed in the MS Duffers after coming from 3-0 down to beat Buffs Club.

Robert Beggs had the week’s best finish with a 109 checkout, followed by: 89 Neil Marshall and 82 Daniel Thompson (Fountain Arrows)

Geoff Wylie (Drifters), Dean Kerr x2 (Greenhills) and Paul McDonald (Buffs Club) all hit 180s.

SYMPATHY

The thoughts and sympathy of all within the league go to Joan Campbell and the family circle after the passing of her father David.

David spent a lot of years playing darts within the league, notably for the Salisbury darts team.

He was a former winner of the Ballymena Individuals and a runner-up in the Northern Ireland Individuals.
