Clubs set to discuss ground-share

Banbridge Rangers are to hold talks with Banbridge Town over ground-sharing at Crystal Park next season.

Rangers indicated that they would like to replace Moneyslane, who will return to their own newly-developed Jubilee Park for the 2014/15 campaign.

Rangers have met with Banbridge Council and discussed the prospect of moving from Cheney Park to Crystal Park next season.

The Mid-Ulster League were notified of Rangers’ desire to move and they emailed both clubs on Sunday.

The pitch at Crystal Park is owned by the council. However, the changing facilities and clubhouse are owned by Banbridge Town and so discussions must

now take place between Town and Banbridge Rangers before the plans are fully agreed.

“It’s up to the two clubs to talk to each other now,” confirmed Banbridge District Council’s Area Facility Officer Victor Willis.
