Coleraine RDA hosts SJI Spring League event

With the slightly milder conditions compared to late, there seem to be a buzz in the air as both horse and rider looked forward to the thought of the summer days approaching.

With all horses having a welcoming spring in their step, it was evident that they were enjoying the weather and the flowing course designed by William Brown. Spectators watched on as riders demonstrated their skill and ability as they gracefully navigated around the bright coloured course of fences.

The first class of the day was the popular 80cm Sportsman’s class which was well supported by local riders. Kelly Kilburn on Willow produced the first double clear of the day and was rewarded a bale of dollar bedding for her effort.

RDA Coleraine would like to thank Dollar Bedding for their generous donation of bales of bedding which was given out to double clear riders during the day.

The next date of the SJI Spring League will be on Monday 17th March. 10am start. Classes Sportsman 80cm, 80cm - 125cm. Other remaining dates are 23rd March and 30th March.

£1.50 per entry to Prize Fund in Final on 30th March. Minimum Prize Fund for each class will be £50. Sportsman’s class prizes In Kind.
