Coleraine Yacht Club coursesannounced

CYC are once again running a full program of sailing courses this summer out of Portrush Harbour in association with Portrush Yacht Club.

The courses begin on 7th July at 9.30am.

These courses are RYA courses up to Level 4 and some weeks are set aside for racing courses for the sailor who has gained at least Level 2 qualification.

Adult courses are part of the August program so CYC courses are for people aged 8 to 80!

Mikaela Neely is the Senior Instructor in charge.

Mikaela gained her qualification through Seabord Sailing at Killyleagh.

She will be assisted by James Campbell, Aoife Cameron Mitchell and Duncan Chapman RYA Dinghy Instructors from CYC . Jonny Campbell and Oonagh Jordan RYA Assistant Instructors from CGC will also be part of the team.

The sailing courses run from Monday to Friday each week.

They are designed it be fun as well as instructional.

The feedback from last year’s courses was fantastic some people signing on for a second course and some having already booked again this year.
