Collapsed near the end

LURGAN Town under 12s played North Belfast on Saturday and in a memorable game it was Town who ended up on the wrong side of a 7-3 scoreline.

Town took the lead after nine minutes when Travis Hall scored but the sides were soon back on level terms.

Ryan Lewsley scored his first competitive goal for Town to make it 2-1 but Belfast made it 2-2 at the break.

Town began the second half with a real belief that they could make it three wins in three games.

But it was the Belfast side who went in front before Caolan O’Neill grabbed an equaliser for Town.

With only 10 minutes left Town totally collapsed and Belfast struck four times to win 7-3.

Man of the match for Town was Andrew Cullen.
