Comfortable win for Drumgor

DRUMGOR had a comfortable victory in Moira where they took six of the seven points on offer.

On mat one for Moira skip Billy Martin, Darryl Hawkins, K. Magowan and I.Cunningham lost 7-5 to Aidan Corrigan, Malachy Grimley, Dave Funnell and Gerry Chambers.

St John’s Ian Ferguson, Drew Kirk, Betty Scott and George Bleakes on two lost heavily, 18-3, to Drumgor’s Joe Beattie, Eddie McCourt, Sheila Garvey and Margaret Grimley.

Moira’s only success came on mat three where Sadie White, Bobby Jones, Billy Hutchinson and T. Ferguson won 11-7 against M. Sproule, Catherine McMillen, Irene Doone and Emma Skelton.

On four Drumgor’s David Beattie, Seamus Skelton, Pat Devlin and R. Sproule had a convincing 24-3 success against Charlie Whitty, A. Mulligan, Raymond Perry and Mary Whitty.
