Committee send double congratulations

THE Chairman of Moneyslane Football Club, Mr Geoffrey Cochrane, Vice Chairman of the Club, Raymond Bingham and all Committee members would like to take the opportunity to congratulate the First Team on their successful season in which they won the League Cup and Beckett Cup double.

It has been a fantastic season for the entire club as a whole and they would like to thank all the players and especially the management staff, manager, Glen Moffett and John Kernaghan, who have played a major role this season and to Cliffy Sterritt who also helped out in the management staff at the start of the season.

History was made in one whole week for the club as they won the league on the Saturday and then went on to win the Beckett Cup the next Friday night. It has given the entire community a great lift and a lot to talk about in the last few weeks.

The build up the last week will never be forgotten and will be forever etched in the minds of those who follow the club. The committee would like to thank all the lads who performed all season on the pitch and have done the club proud.
