COMMONWEALTHS: Defeats for McHugh and McClure in Pairs
BOWLS: Larne’s Martin McHugh, alongside Pairs partner Ian McClure, suffered defeat in the opening two matches at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The Whitehead BC member and Portrush’s McClure lost 19-16 to Malta in their first game, before going down 22-14 to Malaysia at Kelvingrove.
