Comprehensive win for Riada FC

Riada FC played hosts to Gilford Crusaders in the second round of the Irish Junior Cup on Saturday.

Gilford started strong and took the lead through a great volleyed effort which found the corner. Riada then took control with McAleese lobbing home for the equaliser.

With half time approaching Agnew ran on to a Duffy through ball to put Riada in front and Christie nodded home from a McCook cross.

Riada made a good start to the second half with Agnew running through on goal to convert.

Gilford then hit back immediately from the restart to leave the score 4-2.

Riada then upped their game again for the remaining half an hour Christie converting again from another McCook cross and the ruthless Agnew running clear a further two times to take his personal tally to four and leave the final score 7-2.
