This week there were 130 runners, of whom 18 were first timers and two recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 10 different athletics clubs took part.
Given the softness of the sand, the two PB’s were well earned.
Elsewhere, Deborah Gilliland secured first Lady at Ormeau Park in Belfast.

Basically you have to run a 4.2m loop every hour until you can no longer do it within an hour.
They are doing it for a charity called Shelterbox and donations can be made via their Facebook/Just Giving pages.
They are hoping to break the 100mile mark each.
They hope to have fun (!?!) and raise some money for Shelterbox.
