CONNOLLY’S ‘B’ POT OPENING TROPHY

CONNOLLY’S ‘B’ landed the first silverware of the Ballymena Towers Pool League section of the Ballymena Festival of Pool last week.

The Dunvale side beat surprise finalists Moat Aces 4-2 in the final of the competition, which was played at the home of the league sponsored, Michelin Athletic Club.

Having eliminated their perennial challengers Michelin Masters in the opening round of the competition, Connoly’s had a fairly comfortable passage through the semi-final against Diamond Bar.

Moat started their run to the final by beating Coach Bar before seeing off Michelin Inbetweeners in the semi-finals.
