Leaders Gers saw off Rangers with C Baxter throwing legs of 15 and 16 darts, as well as hitting 180, J Hastings had a leg of 19, as did G Dempsey, while C.Ritchie had legs of 19 and 18, C Gilliland 18 and R Tweed a two-dart checkout of 82 (T14: D20).

For the Jays, I Baston had a two-dart checkout of 98 (T20: D19).

Second-placed Lumford were the victors over LTOB, thanks in part S Robertson’s leg of 16 darts, which included a checkout of 102 (20: T14: D20). M Milligan also finished a leg in 16 and M Penney 19.

Blue Bars were the victors against St Johns. Blues player C Meban had a checkout of 130 (T20: 20: Bull) and A Wilson a leg of 18 darts.

No. 1 Club ‘A’ beat Islandmagee 6-2 as W. McConnaghie hit 180.

In a second 6-2 scoreline No1 ‘B’ were the winners against Larne Legion. J Jenkins had a checkout of 123 (T19: 16: Bull) for the winners and T McCullough a two-dart checkout of 86.

In a third 6-2 result the Vandevelles were the victors over the Football Club.

St. Comgall’s won 5-3 at Ballylumford. Saints’ W Young checked out on 115 (T20: 15: D20) and J. Looney hit 180; and for Ballylumford T Burns had a two-dart checkout of 96 (T20: D18), as well as an 18-dart leg.

The last result of the evening saw Rangers ‘B’ and Gers ‘B’ share the points. For the Rangers, I Mulholland had a leg of 19 darts and for the Gers S Nelson had a two-dart checkout of 98 (T20: D19).
