Cougars celebrate debut basketball season
COLERAINE Cougars Basketball Club celebrated their first full season of Special Olympics Ulster. Part funded by Council, the Club in partnership with Coleraine Borough Council and Active Communities held their first awards night on Friday 14th June at Rathmore Golf Club, Portrush.
Award winners on the evening included: Junior Passer of the Year, Jordan McAuley; Junior Dribbling of the Year, Gillian Henry; Junior Shooter of the Year, Stefan Burton; Star of the future award, Ty Donnelly; Junior Player of the Year, Joel McClelland; Club Personality of the Year, Matthew Crawford; Club Person of the Year, Gavin Curran; Most Improved Player, Richard Johnston; Senior Assist of the Year, Aaron McDowell; Senior Score of the Year, Gerard Eastwood; Players Player of the Year, Sean Campbell; Coaches Player of the Year, Alexander Hughes; and Most Valuable Player, Sean Campbell.
