Cougars hold free Open Day

COLERAINE Cougars Special Olympics Basketball Club will mark the start of the 2013/14 season with a FREE OPEN DAY at Coleraine Leisure Centre on Saturday 21st September from 10am until 12pm.

Part funded by Council, the club in partnership with Coleraine Borough Council and Active Communities is for children (6 years plus) and adults with a learning disability. The club would like to invite anyone thinking of joining to come along to the open day to learn basketball with the coaches, have fun, and play the game.

There will also be an opportunity to watch and play against the Coleraine Cougars male team, who are the current Special Olympics Ulster League and Regional Champions.

This is also a great opportunity for anyone who is thinking of volunteering at the club to come down, meet the coaches and other volunteers and pick up registration forms.
