The annual race, which is set to take place on Sunday, September 21, provides a challenge of endurance as competitors take part in cycling, swimming and running. The competition sees athletes push themselves to their limit in a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride, followed by a 5km run around Valley Park.

Part of the Ulster Sprint Calendar, the race is run in association with Triathlon Ireland and Newtownabbey Borough Council.
