Craigavon into second place

CRAIGAVON moved up to second place in division two of the Ulster Squash League with a 12 -7 victory over Belfast Boat Club C.

Nick Rusk started the proceedings and he raced into a 2-0 lead.

But he allowed his opponent to come back and he eventually lost 3-2.

Next up was Darren McCabe and he edged home in a hard fought game by the odd game in five.

Rory Reynolds saw off his Belfast counterpart by a 3-1 margin and Peter Barclay rounded off an excellent night’s work for the locals with a similar scoreline of 3-1.

Craigavon have no game this week due to the withdrawal of Dungannon but resume next week with a tough looking visit to equally high flying CIYMS.

As ever club nights continue at the Leisure Centre with new players always welcome.
