With a strong side on the field, the Twos were able to give captain James McGarry his first ever victory, made all the more sweeter for the skipper as it was he who hit the winning boundary.

Sadly, that joy was to be short-lived as only a couple of days later the Twos had no other option but to withdraw from the league due to a lack of players.

The club hope to arrange some friendlies over the course of the summer with a view to trying to reform the Twos side for the 2016 season.

In order to do that, Millpark need new players. The club net on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Banford Green from 6pm onwards and regardless of ability you will be made extremely welcome if you want to come and try your hand at cricket.
