Michael is a middle order batsman and off spin bowler who came highly recommended by their former overseas player coach Wiaan Smit.

As well as his on field qualities, Michael is heavily involved in coaching at his club side in Boland and he’s keen to also develop this aspect when working with the club’s popular youth section during his time with the Magheramason men.

While the club’s Christmas bingo fund raiser, takes place this Friday at 8pm.

All players, parents, members, supporters are asked to donate a prize for this fund raising event and prizes can be left at club reception between 6pm-10pm each night.

Meanwhile Eglinton will host the Danske Bank Senior Cup Final next season after the North West’s newest body, the Grounds Appointments committee voted in favour of sending the 2015 decider to the County Londonderry village.

The committee will sit down again in the new year to decide on the venues for the other finals.
