Andy McBrine and Jordan McGonigle struck for Donemana in a 2-1 victory over Eglinton.

There was action earlier in a run filled encounter between Brigade and Donemana in the Sam McConnell Memorial Cup.

Andy McBrine smashed 10 fours and 5 sixes as he top scored with 93 from just 45 balls as Donemana piled up 163 for 7 from just 15 overs. McBrine was given excellent support from Ricky-Lee Dougherty, who made 45.

But Iftikhar Hussain cracked 76 from 42 balls (7 fours, 3 sixes) to put Brigade well on course for the win. And Skipper Andrew Britton took them to the 8 wicket win with two overs to spare - he hit 6 fours and 3 sixes in his 56 not out from just 25 balls to Man of the Match. Johnny Robinson (20*) offered excellent support as the Beechgrove side collected another piece of silverware.
