Strabane won their first match of the season after a five wicket win over Bready.

Donemana had a 49 run victory over Coleraine at Sandel Lodge, while Eglinton easily defeated Drummond by 125 runs.

There are four important Long’s Supervalu Premier Division league fixtures scheduled for Saturday, with anyone of six teams in with a chance of the title.

The big question is can Ardmore do a Leicester City and go all the way and clinch the top division’s title.

Strabane v Eglinton

The Red Caps finally got the monkey off their back with last Saturdays win this may give them a lot of confidence for the remainder of the campaign.

Once again Peter Gillespie was their main man however the return of Mark Gillespie made a huge difference.

Eglinton are still in the hunt although they cannot afford any slip ups as their are sides around them who have games in hand, it was good to see Stuart Thompson back to his best in last weeks win.

Prediction: Eglinton.

Bready v Coleraine

Davy Scanlon’s side after a run of excellent results came down to earth with that defeat at Strabane, however they are in a much better position now than they were a month ago where relegation was a possibility.

Coleraine although losing last Saturday are still confident that they can retain the title, however they must have a concern about Niall McDonnell’s fitness after his injury in the Donemana game, he would be a big loss if not available.

Prediction: Coleraine.

Drummond v Ardmore

After Strabane’s win the Roesiders find them selves in bottom position, they suffered a real hammering last week and if they are to remain in the top flight they must show a big improvement and that doesn’t look like happening.

Ardmore have surprised a lot of pundits as they sit proudly at the top of the table and they thoroughly deserve to be there.

They also proved that they don’t always depend on Decker Curry, as Ryan Brolly and Ciaran Curley proved last week.

Prediction: Ardmore.

Donemana v Brigade

The match of the day Ricky Lee Dougherty’s side have games in hand over the sides above them and their biggest worry must be in getting them played, they have already had two games washed out, the skipper has his players geared up to win the double.

Brigade are another side who are very much in contention although they lost last week Andy Britton and his players know that a defeat here would seriously damage their title aspirations this could be a high scoring game.

Prediction: Donemana.
