Local cricket and it was certainly a case of black Sunday for North West clubs as all five who were in action crashed out of the Irish Senior Cup.

Coleraine lost 3-2 in a bowl-out at Merrion, while Strabane lost a last over thriller at Malahide by nine runs.

In the NCU, Donemana just failed to chase down Derriaghy’s 282 - 72 from skipper Ricky-Lee Dougherty and 51 from Ritchie McBrine got them to just 10 runs shy.
