A squad of 13 players and two coaches would play five matches against Guernsey U17’s, Sussex U15’s, Oxfordshire U15’s, Norfolk U15’s and Bermuda U17’s next summer.

Over the past few years the NWCU worked hard to improve the coaching structures within the area, which has lead to regional coaching clinics for all youth cricketers, an expanded regional development programme, a warriors academy and most recently the Junior Warriors U11 Indoor League.

The tour will allow the continued development and provide a unique opportunity for players.

The tour has been aimed at under-17 level specifically to encourage players to make a successful transition from youth players into senior cricket and provide a pathway for potential North West Warrior players.

At this stage it’s estimated the total cost per player for the tour would be of £350 (+/- £50), which would include flights, B&B accommodation, airport transfers, match day transfers and five days of cricket.

At this stage they are looking to gain a feel from parents/players who are aged 15-17 years old, to find out who would be interested in taking part in this tour, which will be the first of it’s kind to be ran by the NWCU for our youth squads.
