Cricket: Rankin wins first Ireland cap
Bready’s David Rankin along with four fellow North West Warriors were selected for Ireland’s opening T20 International game against Scotland, at Bready
Rankin, who is following in his big brother Boyd’s footsteps by playing for his country, was joined in the side with club mate Craig Young and Warriors team-mates Andrew McBrine, Stuart Thompson and Graeme McCarter.
The T20 encounter is the first of three between the sides at Bready; tomorrow night things again get underway at 5.30pm and on Sunday the action starts at 2pm.
